Disordered photonics: from experiments to its supersymmetry field theory

Abstract
Very recent experiments have unveiled that classical wave transport through open random media exhibits very rich physics. In this talk, I will introduce two new wave phenomena: highly unconventional diffusion of Anderson localized waves and transition in transmission statistics of diffusive waves. Then, I will introduce a very powerful technique -- the supersymmetry field theory for waves in open random media -- which allows us on a full microscopic level to systematically explore this subject.
